Please Consider a Donation to Ahimsa House

Ahimsa House receives no government funding, and we are operated almost entirely by volunteers. It costs us approximately $400 per month to provide shelter and veterinary care for one family's pets. We rely on donations from compassionate people to help us continue our lifesaving work.

If you would like to make a donation, here are several options you may use:

If you donate to United Way through your workplace you can write in Ahimsa House as the organization you would like your money to go to, even if we are not on the list of organizations to choose from. To do this, you need to list the following information:

CFC or Other Workplace Campaigns

We are joining an increasing number of Combined Federal Campaigns and
other workplace giving campaigns in Georgia. Look for us on the form.
If you don't see us, contact your workplace giving administrator.

Corporate Gift Matching:  Making Your Gift Go Further

Many companies have programs through which they will match the charitable contributions made by their employees, making your gift go further. Check with your (or your spouse’s) company's Human Resources office to see if they offer a gift matching program. (If they don't,
you may want to ask your company to start one.) If your employer does offer this program, your Human Resources department should provide you with a matching gift form to send to Ahimsa House along with your donation. Mail the form with your donation to: Ahimsa House, PO Box 8181, Atlanta, GA 31106-0181. You may also send in the form after you have made the donation. We will verify receipt of your gift and return the form to your company for matching funds. The company verifies eligibility of the employee and sends a check to Ahimsa
House.

Planned Giving

By including Ahimsa House in your estate plans, you can make a gift to Ahimsa House that keeps on giving for many years. There may be tax benefits to you as well. Please consider asking your attorney and/or tax advisor how you can include Ahimsa House in your
long-term plans.
